Up selling and cross selling using AbleCommerce

15 March, 2009 (20:03) | Content Management Systems, E-Commerce Platforms, Uncategorized | By: admin

AbleCommerce makes this really easy for you the end user. Via the administration console you can associate products with each other to display in either an up selling or cross selling situation.

For example, if you own an electronics web store and you carry different models of the same car speaker, when the lesser product is viewed AbleCommerce can display a higher spec model to encourage up selling.

Likewise in a cross selling situation, if the user is considering the speakers then we also want them to consider and purchase the stereo and the sub woofer. Don’t leave anything to chance. Make it easy for your web buyers.

    Segment online pricing

    26 February, 2009 (20:07) | Uncategorized | By: admin

Your eCommerce system should allow uncomplicated pricing management for any number of user groups. One of the big issues we hear regularly is that a clients current eCommerce application will allow only one band of pricing. This is great if you only have one type of customer.

You need the ability to create any number of user groups and assign any number of users to a group. Each group is then accorded a particular price, or % of pricing. AbleCommerce allows this type of flexibility, its also easily administered by the office junior.

Next week we will talk about “Couponing”.
